MY ACCOUNT

How to create a customer account?

To create an account, nothing could be simpler:

  1. Click on the Account icon at the top right of the home page on your computer, or on the menu from your mobile phone.

  2. Enter your email address on the login page

  3. Immediately after the validated registration request, you will receive a confirmation email with the unique 6-digit connection code which you simply need to enter on the connection page

How do I log in to my customer account?

To connect to your Place du jour account, click on the Account icon at the top right of the home page on your computer, or on the menu from your mobile.

Enter your email address and your connection code received by email.

How do I change or update my information?

To modify your personal information such as your , telephone number, addresses:

  1. First log in has your Account : at the top right of the home page on your computer, or on the menu from your mobile

  2. From your customer area click on the icon with your initials

  3. Then click on Profile : You can now edit all the information available directly in each section, then click on validate

ORDER & PAYMENT

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard credit cards.

We suggest you save your payment information when placing your order. This will make it easier for you to place your future orders.

Are payments secure?

When you make a purchase our payment partner Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the data security standard established by the payment card industry (PCI-DSS standard). Information relating to your purchase transaction is retained for as long as necessary to finalize your order. Once your order is finalized, the information relating to the purchase transaction is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is the joint effort of companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements ensure the secure processing of credit card data by our store and its service providers.

Your banking information is never in our possession even if you choose to save your payment data in order to facilitate your purchases.

Your transactions are systematically processed by the secure payment module of our partner Shopify.

How do I cancel or modify my order?

Cancellation

To guarantee you the best delivery times, we will prepare and ship your order within the hours following validation of your basket. As a result, it is unfortunately impossible for us to cancel your order once it has been validated.


Edit

It is not possible to modify the content of the order. We invite you to return your parts to us when you have received them by declaring your return from your My Account > My Orders area.

Was my order successful?

When your order is validated, we send you a confirmation email including your order number as well as the summary of your basket.

You can also find the details of your order in your My Account > My Orders area.

Didn’t get the recap within an hour? Remember to check your spam carefully, emails sometimes slip through there.

Otherwise write to us , we can check the status of your order with you.

DELIVERY

What are the delivery times ?

Place du jour ships orders within 24 hours (working days), and delivery then depends on our carrier.

Delivery times are the sole responsibility of the carriers and under no circumstances can Place du jour be held liable in the event of non-compliance with these deadlines.

For information purposes:

  • Metropolitan France: 2 to 4 days
  • Rest of the world: 3 to 15 days

What are the delivery costs?

Metropolitan France

  • Mondial relay Collection point (2 to 3 working days): Free with no minimum purchase
  • Colissimo Domicile with signature(2 to 3 working days): Free for all orders over €80 otherwise €5.
  • Chronopost à Domicile (1 to 2 working days): €10 for any order



European Union

  • Colissimo Domicile with EU signature: €10 for any order less than €99, 2 to 5 working days
  • DHL Express Worldwide EU: €20 for all orders, 1 to 3 working days



Other destinations

  • DHL Express Worldwide: €40 for all orders (2 to 5 working days)


Please note: customs fees may be applied upon receipt of the package. These costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

These deadlines can be extended by an additional 48 to 72 hours during special operations (sales, private sales, Christmas periods). 

How to track my order ?

To track the delivery status of your order, go to your My Account > My Orders area.

Click on the order number concerned then on “track my order” or “track my package”.

The preparation time for an order can vary between 1 and 2 working days. Then, the delivery time (indicated when placing the order) is effective once the order has been shipped.

My package was not delivered to the chosen relay point, what should I do?

When your relay point is not available, overloaded or exceptionally closed, the carrier is forced to deliver your package to another relay point.

Unfortunately, we can no longer change the location of receipt of your package once the delivery person has dropped it off. If you cannot collect it, the package will be automatically returned to us.

If the package is returned to the Workshop, we can, if you wish, resend it to you. You will then receive an automatic email offering reshipment at no additional cost to the address of your choice.

Otherwise, we will reimburse you within 7 working days after receipt of your package by our logistics workshop.

My package has been returned to the sender, what should I do?

You have been notified by email that your order has been returned to our Store.

You can choose one of these two options:

  • Reimbursement: without a message from you, we will automatically reimburse you within 7 working days after receipt of your order in our Workshop.
  • Reshipment at no additional cost: write to us at contact@placedujour.fr within 24 hours after receipt of the notificationconfirming your delivery details (surname, first name , address, telephone number, email and order number).
    We will then send you confirmation that your request has been taken into account. However, you will have to wait a few days to receive your new shipping number from us - while we receive your returned package and prepare for reshipment.

RETURN AND REFUND

What are the conditions to be met to make a return?

You have fourteen days from the date of delivery of the products to exercise your right of withdrawal (refund).

This right of withdrawal can be exercised provided that the returned products meet all of the following criteria:

  • have not been damaged
  • have not been worn
  • that they are returned in their original packaging
  • that they are completeand in the same condition as when they were delivered


To prevent the products from being damaged during return transit, we invite you to protect them well by returning them in their original box or a rigid box. Otherwise, your refund will be refused.

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from the refund. 

Returns can be made up to 30 days from the delivery date

How to make a return?

In metropolitan France

1. Go to your Account:

  • Log in to Placedujour.fr to declare your return in the My Account > My Orders customer area .
  • Click on "Request a return" and choose the model to return to us as well as a reason.


2. Once this information has been provided, the return request will be subject to internal validation

3. Once validated, you will receive a Colissimo return label to print and stick on the return package.

4. All you will have to do is go to your post office


(note that the return costs of €5 will be deducted from your refund if you do it from France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy , Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Portugal.)

Returns from other countries must be requested by email to eshop@placedujour.fr indicating the order number. The return procedure will then be sent, the package must be franked by the customer and the costs will be their responsibility.

I did not receive what I ordered, what should I do?

If the part received does not correspond to what you ordered , we invite you to contact us directly here with the order number, photos of the part received, the label attached to the part and the one stuck on the package .

If a part is missing from your package , write to us here with the name of the missing part, the order number and the label stuck on the package.

We will then find the solution that suits you as quickly as possible.

My part seems defective, what should I do?

For support, we invite you to contact us by clicking here , attaching photos of your part and the attached label , as well as your order number .

We will then send you a return label very quickly.

When will I receive my refund?

Once the package is received in our workshop, your refund will be madewithin 2 to 5 working days*.

Allow a maximum of approximately 10 calendar days upon receipt of the return packagefor the refund to be effective.

You will receive a first e-mail confirming the good reception of your package at the workshop, then a second one when the reimbursement has been made.

The part I want is no longer available, what should I do?

We are sorry that your part is no longer available.

We do everything we can to best anticipate your desires and allow everyone to find what they are looking for on the site.

If our Collections are designed in limited edition in order to avoid any overproduction.
